Celebrate 50 Years of the Virginia Hemophilia Foundation (VHF) at the beautiful Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden! On March 16, 2025, everyone is welcome to join us for this special celebration as we come together to honor 50 years of support, connection, and progress within our bleeding disorders community. March is Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month—a time to raise awareness, promote education, and honor the dedication and achievements of the bleeding disorders community. We invite you to join us in celebrating this meaningful month and milestone anniversary event with YOUR VHF community as we learn, connect, and create lasting memories with friends and family in a festive and supportive setting!

NBDF’s BDC features educational sessions, industry symposia, networking and social events, and exhibits. A lineup of dynamic speakers who provide essential information and insights on the evolving landscape in this exciting new era of treatment for hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and rare bleeding disorders. This event offers an opportunity to connect with the bleeding disorders community and gain valuable education and resources.

APPLICATION DUE: VHF Lyman Fisher Scholarship

The Virginia Hemophilia Foundation (VHF) Lyman Fisher Scholarship was established to honor Dr. Lyman Fisher, a teacher, researcher, and clinician in hemostasis. For many years, he directed the adult hemophilia program for Virginia. He will be remembered for his steadfast commitment to his patients and students, his respect for those who served under him, his community service and his affection for his family.
