    The Virginia Bleeding Disorders Foundation (VABDF) formerly Virginia Hemophilia Foundation (VHF) Lyman Fisher Scholarship was established to honor Dr. Lyman Fisher, a teacher, researcher, and clinician in hemostasis. For many years, he directed the adult hemophilia program for Virginia. He will be remembered for his steadfast commitment to his patients and students, his respect for those who served under him, his community service and his affection for his family.

    Join us for an engaging educational program that brings real-life experiences from the hemophilia A community to the forefront. In this interactive, case-based session, you’ll follow investigators as they work through a thought‑provoking question: can two individuals with very different hemophilia journeys achieve comparable outcomes using the same treatment? Through guided discussion and an inside look at real patient case files, participants will gain valuable insights into today’s evolving treatment landscape, including ALTUVIIIO. You’ll also have opportunities to ask questions, exchange perspectives, and learn alongside others in a supportive, community-centered setting. This educational dinner program is for VABDF/VHF constituents (and their immediate family and/or household members.) Dinner will be provided and there is no fee to attend.

The Virginia Hemophilia Foundation (VHF), the Hemophilia Association of the Capital Area (HACA), and Camp Holiday Trails (CHT) are excited to partner once again for Camp Youngblood (CYB) — a week-long overnight camp designed just for kids in our inherited bleeding disorders community!
