Fall Community Education Weekend at Great Wolf Lodge

This community education weekend is designed to educate and connect members of the bleeding disorders community.
This event includes educational sessions, on-site childcare, waterpark access, meals, and overnight accommodations.

Weekend Schedule & Highlights
Friday, September 11 Water park access begins when it opens Friday for those staying overnight. Hotel check-in begins at 4:00 PM.
Saturday, September 12 – Education Meeting (Begins at 9:00 AM)
- 8:00 AM Enjoy breakfast and visit exhibits.
- 9:00 AM Attend our keynote session: TBD
- 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Take part in breakout sessions and visit exhibits: TBD
- On-site childcare and youth/teen programming will be provided by Camp Holiday Trails and A Helping Hand.
- Enjoy optional overnight accommodations and more waterpark fun Saturday evening.
Sunday, September 13 No scheduled education but breakfast will be offered! A relaxing departure day and time to enjoy the waterpark with friends and family before heading home!
ℹ️ Important Details
- Open to all ages – not limited to families with children.
- To reserve a room, at least one person in your group must be age 21+.
- The meeting registration fee is $50 per household. We do not want cost to prevent anyone from participating so if the registration fee presents a financial hardship, please let us know. Registration fees will be collected after registration closes on Friday, July 24th.
- Space is limited and determined by our Program Registration Guidelines.
PLEASE READ: VABDF is pleased to provide complimentary hotel accommodations for Saturday night for all registered individuals/families attending this year’s event. A limited number of complimentary Friday-night hotel rooms are also available. Because the number of available rooms is limited, priority will be given to those attendees that are traveling more than 90 miles and for whom the cost of an additional hotel night would create a financial hardship. Those who wish to arrive on Friday but are not selected for a complimentary Friday-night room may reserve a room at our discounted group rate of $179 per night, plus applicable taxes and fees. Friday-night room requests will be reviewed after registration closes on Friday, July 24th,and you will be notified of your hotel status by Friday, August 7th. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us make this event accessible to as many people as possible!

To be eligible, you must meet all of the following:
- Have an inherited bleeding disorder, or be the spouse/partner/parent/caregiver of someone who does
- Live in the VABDF/VHF coverage area or receive care for your bleeding disorder within it. Click here to see if you meet the eligibility requirements.
