The VHF community came together on October 10th in support of our first-ever virtual Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk – thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this event! Whether you fundraised, donated, secured a sponsorship or simply shared the event with your friends and family, your hard work paid off and made a BIG impact. Together with sponsorship and anticipated matching gifts, you raised an amazing $31,253 – we are so grateful! Each donation made will stay local to VHF and go to programs such as year-round advocacy efforts, tailored educational events, and scholarships for community members. THANK YOU!

A special thank you goes out to our Top 3 Teams this year: Star City Bleeders, Team Lukasz, and Marian’s All Stars; and our Top Individual Walkers: Colin Davidson, Monika Eiden, and Vivek Kshetrapal.

Enjoy more of our #UniteDay2020 pictures on the VHF Flickr page! If you missed the event, you can check out our recorded program here.

Still interested in fundraising or didn’t quite meet your goal? The www.uniteforbleedingdisorders.org/event/rva page will be open and available until the end of the year, and spotlights our national and local sponsors! Or, donate anytime at www.vahemophilia.org.

Also, we must give a HUGE SHOUT-OUT to our Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk Committee for all their hard work! For information about joining next year’s walk committee, please contact megan@vahemophilia.org.
