Family Bleeding  Disorders Camp at Camp Holiday Trails | Friday, April 26 – Sunday, April 28, 2019

Join Virginia Hemophilia Foundation (VHF) & Hemophilia Association of the Capital Area (HACA) at Camp Holiday Trails (CHT) for a weekend camp for families impacted by an inherited bleeding disorder. This program is designed for families with at least one child living at home who is between the ages of 5 – 17, whose children are camp ready and/or are looking to attend camp in the next two years. Eligible families are those impacted by an inherited bleeding disorder who live in the territorial jurisdiction of VHF & HACA.

Acceptance to Family Bleeding Disorders Camp is not first come first served, it is based on a review of the application by VHF, HACA, and Camp Holiday Trails. Decisions are also made considering VHF’s Program Registration Guidelines, you can find them here.

 

Camp Youngblood  | July 7 – July 12 at Camp Holiday Trails 
A week-long overnight camp at Camp Holiday Trails (CHT) for children with inherited bleeding disorders, their siblings, and children of members of the inherited bleeding disorder community that reside within the Virginia Hemophilia Foundation (VHF) or Hemophilia Association of the Capital Area (HACA) coverage area. Kids enjoy a week of fun and learning with others that are faced with similar challenges and life experiences.

Acceptance to Camp Youngblood is based on a review of the Camper’s application by Camp Holiday Trails Program and Medical staff. Decisions are also made considering VHF’s Program Registration Guidelines, you can find them here.
