In partnership with the Hemophilia Association of the Capital Area (HACA), we are offering a virtual Men’s Retreat! Participants will enjoy education and time to gather and share with other people who encounter similar challenges. This retreat is free and open to men age 21 and up with inherited bleeding disorders and/or to men whose lives are impacted by a bleeding disorder (i.e. caregivers, spouses, immediate family members).

An overview of how mental health disorders impact the hemophilia community with a focus on cyber, social and physical bullying. Also, how caregivers can help their kids/teenagers with with bullies as well as talking about the 504 plan for school.
Join VHF and your bleeding disorders community for some virtual holiday cheer! There will be ginger bread house decorating (kits to be delivered directly to your home), educational games, holiday themed trivia, door-prizes and more!
Join us for a virtual education session for individuals with an inherited bleeding disorder. The topic will be "Mindfulness as a Path to Resilience" What is mindfulness and what are its benefits? How are stress and resilience related, and why is resilience important? This presentation will offer patients a set of skills that they may use at home, on their own.
