Join the Virginia Hemophilia Foundation (VHF) on Sunday, August 3rd for a fun and educational community event focused on health, fitness, and connection. This unique outing offers opportunities to learn more about managing your bleeding disorder, build relationships within the community, and enjoy the game of golf—no experience required!

Educational Topic: Choosing the Right Footwear for Back-to-School, Sports, and Everyday Activity
Footwear plays a key role in injury prevention and joint health, especially for those with bleeding disorders. This talk will offer practical tips on choosing the right shoes for all ages and activity levels—from everyday use to back-to-school and sports.
Presenter: Allyson D’Esopo, DPT, PT at VCU-HTC
This event is free to attend and open to individuals diagnosed with an inherited bleeding disorder and their immediate family or household members who reside within the VHF coverage area.
VHF community events are held throughout the year to provide social and educational experiences for individuals and families. These gatherings are an excellent way to increase knowledge, find support, and enjoy time together.
