2023 Medical Symposium at Great Wolf Lodge Wrap-Up
We had a wonderful turnout with over 180 people joining us for this year's Medical Symposium! Attendees consisted of community members of all ages, HTC staff, and board members. A BIG THANK YOU to the attendees who rallied together throughout the meeting to raise almost $3,700 for VHF - we are so grateful for this community!

Court orders HHS to revise federal regulations permitting harmful copay accumulators. In a preliminary victory for consumers, a federal judge in the District of Columbia set aside federal regulations that disadvantage people who rely on copay assistance to afford their medications.
Two New MASAC Documents Focus Substance Use Facilities Access and Treatment Recommendations
The National Bleeding Disorders Foundation (NBDF) is pleased to announce that two new documents have been issued by the Medical and Scientific Advisory Council (MASAC). MASAC, which generated the documents during their recent meeting at last month’s Bleeding Disorders Conference, issues recommendations and advisories on treatment, research, and other general health concerns of the inheritable bleeding disorders community.

During this special Factor X Day event, you will have a chance to connect with others who also have Factor X Deficiency and meet members of their support network. You’ll hear from people who have been affected by this condition and learn about helpful resources from the NBDF.
