Ever wonder how a bill winds its way from a proposed bill, through both houses of the General Assembly to enacted legislation? Committees are the answer -- and where much of the debate about any bill take place. Join us to learn more about the process as we hear from State Senator Ghazala F. Hashmi and Delegate Roxann Robinson - key committee members that work on issues that affect our community.
We have continuously been inspired by the resilience and ability to connect in the virtual space of our community members. We are excited to see all of our teams and sponsors join together on Zoom at 1 pm on Sunday October 17th for an opening session and pinwheel ceremony, to connect with our sponsors, and to celebrate the bleeding disorders community united from the safety of their own homes.
Participants will enjoy meaningful education and time to gather and share with other people who encounter similar challenges. This retreat is free and open to men age 21 and up with inherited bleeding disorders and/or to men whose lives are impacted by a bleeding disorder (i.e. caregivers, spouses, immediate family members).
Join constituents, advocacy committee members, and community stakeholders from throughout Virginia for an education meeting that will cover a wide range of advocacy topics relevant to the bleeding disorders community!

Painting is a great way to help pass the time and cope with stress so bring your creativity and a willingness to learn and you will paint a fall themed painting you’ll be proud to display in your home!
