SUMMARY:HACA/VHF Teen Retreat Virtual Education Series
DESCRIPTION:Join the teens of the Hemophilia Association of the Capital Area (HACA) and the Virginia Hemophilia Foundation (VHF) for our Teen Retreat Virtual Education Series. \nThese educational opportunities are for teens age 13–17 who live within HACA/VHF territory and meet one of the following criteria: Have a bleeding disorder\, are the sibling of someone with a bleeding disorder and/or have a parent/caregiver with a bleeding disorder. Each session must be signed up for individually\, you do not have to sign up for all in order to participate. \n\nTEEN EDUCATION SESSION: \nDate/Time: Sunday\, June 28th at 2:00 pm \nTopic: Looking to the Future: Careers and How They are Evolving! \nPresenter: Kirstin Drye \nHACA member and human resources expert Kirstin Drye will lead a discussion about future career aspirations\, the possible role of your bleeding disorder\, and how the pandemic may influence your choices. There will also be fun games and opportunities to connect with your peers. \nRSVP Here \n\nTEEN SESSIONS DURING CAMP YOUNGBLOOD:  \nDate(s): Monday\, July 6th – Friday\, July 10th \nJoin VHF\, HACA and Camp Holiday Trails (CHT) for exclusive virtual sessions for teens! Program Director McKenzie has planned fun live and recorded activities so you can bring the magic of Camp home. This virtual chat is designed for adults\, as well as VHF/HACA teens age 13–17. \nRSVP Here \n\nAs we gather virtually to discuss\, share and learn\, we ask that all VHF virtual program participants be thoughtful in their interactions and follow video meeting etiquette and rules of engagement.
