2020 Medical Symposium
March 7 @ 9:00 am - March 8 @ 12:00 pm
The VHF Medical Symposium will provide consumers with the knowledge needed to discuss new and current treatment options, have conversations around product safety and how to make tough decisions about medical care. This program will also recognize March as Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month and will help the Virginia bleeding disorders community understand what these potential advancements may mean.
Saturday, March 7th
9:00 am – 4:30 pm: Educational Presentations on Emerging Therapies, Product Safety, Mental Health, Round-table Discussions, Visit Exhibitors, Education and Fun Activities for the Kids and Teens, and more!
6:30 pm: Community Reception at CSL Plasma Center (Space is limited and pre-registration is required)
Separate programming and meals for adults, teens, children and childcare for ages 5 and under.
Sunday, March 8th
10:00 am: Community Event – Top Golf
Educational programs and scheduled meals provided at no cost for constituents that live in the VHF coverage area.
Hotel Assistance: VHF will provide a one-night; one-hotel room stay per family for the Medical Symposium for those constituents who live more than 30 miles away from the program meeting site. Families must be able to attend the entire meeting to be eligible for assistance.
