The Lyman Fisher Scholarship was established to honor Dr. Lyman Fisher, a teacher, researcher, and clinician in hemostasis. For many years, he directed the adult hemophilia program for Virginia. He will be remembered for his steadfast commitment to his patients and students, his respect for those who served under him, his community service and his affection for his family.

This scholarship focuses on leadership, volunteerism and/or health promotion and can be used for any program (i.e. camp, national meetings, educational/life skill classes, fitness programs or activities, etc.) that enhances one’s self-esteem, overall health, leadership skills, areas of interest, development of life skills, and volunteerism.
Application Deadline: Applications can be submitted year-round. VHF must receive the application at least 1 month prior to program application/payment deadline.
