The Hemophilia Alliance, Joe Pugliese Educational Award offers a life-changing opportunity for individuals diagnosed with an inherited bleeding or thrombotic disorder who are pursuing higher education. This annual scholarship provides two recipients with $12,500 each to support tuition and qualified educational expenses for the 2025-2026 academic year. Designed to ensure long-term support for students in the bleeding disorders community, this award can be used for tuition, housing, educational tools, books, and more. Applicants must be an active patient at a federally funded Hemophilia Treatment Center and meet one of the following criteria: a high school senior planning to attend a college, university, or vocational school, a current student enrolled in a degree or certification program, or an adult returning to school for a degree or vocational certification.

The application deadline is March 31, 2025. Applicants must submit an online form, a personal essay, details on extracurricular and work experiences, two letters of recommendation, and proof of enrollment.
